Overhaul schedule of community’s governing documents announced

The Magnolia Bay Gardens HOA has announced procedures for overhauling the community’s governing documents to ensure they remain current, clear, and aligned with applicable laws and best practices.
This review process aims to improve clarity, address outdated provisions, and better support the evolving needs of the community. After two town hall meetings, extensive document proposals presented by the Documents Committee were reviewed and adjusted to comply with community feedback. 
 At the April 23 HOA Board meeting, President Larry Torff announced the Magnolia Bay Directors will conduct public meetings as a Committee of the Whole to further analyze and incorporate document changes based on community responses. Those alterations will be presented at a town hall prior to the governing documents being voted on for adoption by Magnolia Bay residents.

New Gate Entry System for Magnolia Bay Residents

Our Liftmaster touchpad system that was installed by Victory Access of Jupiter this spring has new features that are helpful for Magnolia Bay residents.
To enter Magnolia Bay, a guest may press “resident directory” on the touchpad, then in the space provided type the resident’s last name. The name will pop up on the left, where visitors can press the name to dial the resident. The resident being dialed should have the phone number of the call box, 904-773-5675, saved into their smart phone or landline contact list so that it rings through and does not go straight to voice mail. (The number was changed this year.)
After the call goes through, the parties may have a conversation. To open the security gate to allow access, the resident needs to press “9” on their phone. With some smart phones, the resident will need to press 9 several times quickly for the gate to work. After “9” is pressed, the call will end and the visitors’ gate should swing open.
If a guest knows the five-digit directory code for the home, they may press resident directory, then type the 5-digit directory code. The name will pop up on the left, and the guest can press the name to dial.
